There ought to be good work from the judges when the “summer" season of the professional sumo championships is held next May.
    Elected as judges at the meeting of the Japan Sumo Federation on Tuesday were five former champions all follows: Grand Champion Musashiyama, Champion Shimizugawa, Champion Kagamiiwa, Wakashima and Takanobori.
    With the exception of Shimizugawa, all the rest announced their retirement just before the recent tournament last month.
