'Baby Futaba'
KOBE'S BABY 'FUTABAYAMA' - Teisan Hen Has A Workout With His Classmate.

KOBE, Jan. 22 - The sumo department of the Azuma primary school of this city boasts of a baby giant and the champion sumo pupil of Kobe.
The youngster in question, Teisan Hen by name, is only 10 years of age and in the 5th grade, but his size makes his classmates look like babies. Five feet 2 inches in height with a chest measurement of 3 feet 2 inches, he weighs 17 kan (slightly more than 140 pounds).
Recently when the school organized a sumo department, he was unanimously elected captain of the school's team and in the workouts he was so strongly that he merely toyed with his opponents. In the all-Kobe primary school championship tourney, he captured the title with practically no effort at all.
He's going to be the next Futabayama, his school mates are boasting. And they are proud also that he's not only big and strong, but is bright as well. He was class "kyusho" (the pupil with the highest scholastic standing) last term and is the second in rank this term.
