Kagamiiwa Retires from Competition
Wrestling matches were held at the Korakuen Stadium
yesterday to mark the retirement from active competition after 20 years
in the ring of Kagamiiwa. After the matches the ceremony of cutting off
the distinctive top-knot of a wrestler was held in formal style, Kagamiiwa
was a wrestler of the first rank, or ozeki.
