Dewaminato Beaten As Osaka Tourney Opens

Dewaminato, who won the championship of the professional sumo (Japanese wrestling) tournament last January at the Kokugikan bowl at Ryogoku, Tokyo to the amazement of the fans, had a bad start in the third annual tourney opening at Osaka Wednesday. He was thrown by the handsome Shachinosato.
Grand Champion Futabayama, who suffered three defeats in the January tournament to stop his winning streak at 69 over three years, started auspiciously with a convincing win over Ohshio.
