Tsunenohana Beats All His Opponents; East Side Victors

Tsunenohana, a wrestling champion for the West Side, showed the best individual record during the spring tournament of the Tokyo Wrestlers' Association, which was ended on May 21, at the Kokugikan grounds, Tokyo. He beat every opponent he met, including Genjiyama, newly created extra-champion, who is not looming large as a candidate for an extra champion. Onosato was doing well beating every opponent he met, until he fell into the lap of Chibagasaki, who gave him a kindly slap on the back, felling him to the ground.
The champion pennant was won by the East Side, which scored 96 points as against 77 points of the West Side. Genjiyama and two champions received the pennant at the close of the tournament.
