Sees Wrestling Matches

The Prince of Wales left the Akasaka Detached Palace on April 15 at 12.15 p.m. to go to the estate of Prince Uyesato Tokugawa in Sendagaya as guest for luncheon. In front of the estate, honorary officials of the town of Sendagaya, primary school children, Seinen Dan members and others lined up to welcome the Prince. Received by Prince Tokugawa, the Prince escorted to the foreign style house in the premises. At the reception room, several distinguished persons who were invited to be present, were introduced to the Prince. He greatly admired the antique objects in the rooms.
Wrestling matches which were scheduled for the afternoon, commenced from 1.30 p.m. after luncheon. In accordance with the old custom, the calling out of wrestlers by name, as is done today, was ommited. The Prince left the estate at 2.30 p.m.
