WRESTLER GOES TO BUY U.S. IRON

Material for New Kokugikan Does Not Arrive - So Dewanoumi Goes to Fetch It

The iron material to be used for the reconstruction of the Kokugikan wrestling hall at Ryogoku, which was destroyed by fire last winter, was ordered from America through a certain middleman,, but though expected to have arrived already has not arrived.
The wrestlers association decided recently to procure a supply in the home market, but negotiations failed owing to the scarcity of available stock and high prices.
The association has therefore decided to send wrestler Dewanoumi to America on a mission to purchase the necessary material in the American market.
Dewanoumi went to America several years ago and is acquainted with that country, so that the choice has fallen to him. He will start on the mission in the latter part of next July.
