VETERAN WRESTLER DEAD

    Matsuchiyama, formerly known as Taiho, and a famous wrestler, died at the Imperial University hospital on Monday evening. That afternoon he was operated on by Dr. Sato at his own wish, but the patient was in a very weak condition after a long illness.
    He was one of the strongest fighters that had appeared for many years. He wa a giant, his stature measuring 6.4 feet. He retired from the ring in May 1908.
