It seems probable that the wrestling performances which usually take place in May will be slightly later this year, as it is believed that if they are postponed until early in June, the Kokugikan, which was partially destroyed last year, can be got ready in time. Preparations had been made to hold the May meeting at the temporary amphitheatre at Kudan, but the residents in the neighbourhood, of Ryogoku, especially the tradesmen, are anxious to have the wrestling season celebrated in the place.
    If the public are willing to put up with a few slight inconveniences the wrestling will probably take place here in June.
