RESULTS OF YESTERDAY'S BOUTS AND MATCHES TODAY
The contest of
Asahimatsu v. Onaruto scheduled for yesterday was called off, as Asahimatsu
has been expelled from the Wrestlers' Association. On Friday, he left the
ring unceremoniously, because he was dissatisfied with the decision of
the umpires in the disputed contest between Katsurayama and Namino-oto.
These latter wrestlers, however, feeling sorry for Asahimatsu who has been
"excommunicated" on their account, are persuading the powers that be to
reinstate him in the ring. Probably the Association will accept the apologies
of Asahimatsu and close the episode in a manner satisfactory to all concerned.
