WRESTLING MEET ENDS

    The wrestling meet at the Kokugikan, Ryogoku, was in full swing last Sunday. As it was the last day of the meet and the program included several interesting contests, between Umegatani and Komagatake and Hitachiyama and Tachiyama, and especially as the champion flag was to be won or lost according to the issue of the day's tournaments, the event attracted an unusually large number of spectators, and the spacious wrestling hall was crowded to overflowing from early morning. Enthusiasm prevailed and every match was watched with keen attention. The results were as follows:-

Eastern Camp:- Victory 6; defeat 14.
Western Camp:- Victory 14; defeat 6.

    In the present meet the western camp scored 99 marks against 88 of the eastern camp, and champion flag was therefore won by the western camp.
    The ten days meet having come to an end with great success, the wrestlers will hold another meet at the Josetsukan, Yokohama, from February 1, and then at the Asaqusa Kokugikan from February 6.
    The next meet at the Ryogoku hall will take place in May.
