FIRST DAY OF WRESTLING

IN THE IMPORTANT MATCHES EASTERN CAMP WON

    The wrestling tournament at the Kokugikan, Ryogoku, was opened yesterday. The amphitheater had a large influx of visitors, who flocked in large numbers to the building from the early hours of morning. By nine o'clock about two-thirds of the spacious building was occupied by lovers of the national sport.
    The results of the more important matches in the day's program were as follows:- (+) means victorious, a (-) means defeated.
