The Ekoin Wrestling Ring.

The wrestling ring is steadily growing in popularity and already the metropolitan papers are full of paragraphs about the coming exhibition to begin on the 15th inst. It has lately become the fashion to offer ornamental aprons costing at least 100 yen each as prizes to the all-round winners, this offer being made for purposes of advertisement. The Mainichi and the Yebisu Brewery have each made an offer of such a prize. At the same time several patrons of champion wrestlers have presented aprons to their favorites. Ozutsu, lately made the official champion for the time being, has got three aprons from the Manzaikai, an association of ring-goers, while Hitachiyama has been presented apron by Mr. Takahashi, manager of the Mitui Drapery Store.

Some marked re-arrangements have taken place in the opposing camps; while the record of each wrestler has occasioned some changes in the relative ranks of principle wrestlers.
