    On Friday afternoon, while the wrestling matches were going on in Oi-mura, Ebara-gun, Tokyo-fu, a portion of the stands erected around the wrestling ring gave way suddenly and fell to the ground. Several persons were injured more or less seriously.

    The exhibition of wrestling matches in Osaka given by the Tokyo wrestlers was brought to a conclusion on the 18th. Both Hitachiyama and Oyeyama are reported to have been the most conspicuous among the winners and they were consequently given rewards which consisted of a silver cup offered by the Osaka Mainichi Shimbun and of 15 dozens bottles of sake presented by the Osaka Sake Brewery Co. of Nada.
